Breakfast Oats

You’ll Need:

  • 1/2 cup dry instant oatmeal
  • 1/4 cup Blueberries
  • 1/4 cup red Raspberries
  • 1/8 cup slivered almonds
  • 1/2 cup Almond Milk
  • Chia and/or hemp seeds to sprinkle

Annnnnnd any other goodies you’d like to add would be juuuust fine!

Prepare oats to package, add goodies and milk and enjoy – cool thing about oats it you can pretty much put anything on it …

Other goodie ideas:

  • any fruit (blackberries, apple slices, banana, pear slices, pineapple, peaches, strawberries, ect)
  • Spices (pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, stevia, vanilla extract. )
  • Milks (cows, hemp, almond, rice, soy)
  • Nuts and seeds (almonds, cashews, walnuts, chia, hemp, flax, pecans)
  • chocolate chips – yep! you just read that right hahaha

Cinnamon Waffles with Almond Butter and Banana

You’ll Need :

2 Waffles- Cinnamon Flavored ( I like the Vans Natural Foods Brands ; I used the Gluten free, Cinnamon Apple Flavor for this.)

2 tbsp. Almond Butter

1 Tbsp. Agave Nectar

1 banana

Assembly:

Toast waffles in toaster. Spread almond butter over waffles while they are still warm to the almond butter melts a little bit. Cut up as much banana as you want to top it. And finally drizzle agave nectar on top of it all. Enjoy!

Apple and Almond Butter Wrap

You’ll need:

Apple of choice, I like gala and golden delicious..

pumpkin pie spice OR cinnamon (choose one) 1/4 tsp.

1 serving of Almond butter (usually about 1 tbsp.)

1   8- inch gluten free tortilla

 

Slice you your apple of choice, sprinkle cinnamon or pumpkin spice on to apple (if you find the apple too hard to chew, you can sauté it in a little cooking spray before you add the spices, that will make it softer)

spread Almond butter onto tortilla, place apple inside and roll it up!

SIMPLE< EAST< FAST< AND ON THE GO BREAKFAST! =) Enjoy.

As far as nutrients.. calories: 334, 11g fat , 58 carb, 9g fiber and 8g. protein

Cinnamon Apple Smoothie

SO…. This is more of a desert smoothie lol … but it’s delicious so I had to share =) Enjoy!

You’ll Need :

1 Apple, peeled and sliced (what ever kind your little heart desires)

1/4 cup of Apple Juice

1-2 Teaspoons of ground cinnamon

1 Banana

1 Cup ice cubes

1/2 container of vanilla Greek yogurt

…whipped cream (optional )

1. Combine ice, apple, yogurt, apple juice, banana and cinnamon into blender. Blend till smooth. Pour into glass and serve. (you can add the whipped cream and add a little cinnamon on top if ya want)     YUMMMMM!
